Location: Altadena, CA
Purpose:
This extended family-centered program helps rebuild trust, connection, and emotional stability within families impacted by substance abuse and the loss caused by the Eaton Fire.
Core Components:
Weekly bilingual therapy groups and culturally rooted family healing circles
Parenting education, fatherhood support, and child reunification case management
Fire trauma workshops for spouses, partners, and children
Monthly family-building activities and cultural events (food, music, spiritual traditions)
Access to family counseling, behavioral health support, and communication training
Family transportation support for visits and workshops
Graduation celebration with family, community, and spiritual leaders
Outcome:
Families will experience restored communication, deeper cultural and emotional connection, and collective healing after the dual trauma of addiction and fire-related displacement.
